Line 2 Work Instruction (L1/L2/L3 Lamination, NG Punch, Row Cutting)

Version: v1.0

1. Purpose

Standardize lamination of L3 onto enzyme-treated L1/L2, marking of defective cells, and 30 mm row cutting & segregation.

2. Scope

Applies to semi-automatic Line 2 operations.

3. Equipment

  • Lamination platform with pin positioning
  • Hot press (120°C 0.4 MPa)
  • Hot roll line (120°C 0.01 MPa)
  • NG Puncher (defect coordinate execution)
  • Row Cutter & Splitter (30 mm)
  • Humidity Storage Cabinet (20% RH)

4. Inputs

  • Accepted L1/L2 + enzyme assemblies (Line 1 output)
  • L3 parts (decorative printed & dried)
  • Defect map (Vision DB)

5. Procedure

Step Description Detail Record
1 Positioning Place L1/L2 on platform pins Batch record
2 Cover L3 Align L3 using same pins Visual confirmation
3 Hot press Activate hot press 120°C 0.4 MPa (hold time define e.g., 5–10 s) Press log
4 Hot roll Transfer to hot roll (120°C 0.01 MPa) Roll log
5 NG punch Automated punch marks/removes defect cells (E1–E5) Puncher DB
6 Row cut Row cutter splits into 30 mm rows Cutter log
7 Defect row segregation Split rows: defect-free vs partial-defect vs full-defect Physical label
8 Storage Store ALL rows @20% RH (Good rows, NG rows separately) Storage log

6. Acceptance Criteria

Parameter Requirement
Lamination Alignment ±0.1 mm tolerance
Adhesive Bond Integrity No delamination on peel test sample
Defect Removal Accuracy ≥99% of mapped defects removed
Row Dimension 30.0 mm ±0.1 mm

7. Defect Removal Verification

Sample 2 removed sites per frame; visually confirm electrode absence and no damage to adjacent cells.

8. Records

  • Line 2 Batch Record
  • Punch execution report
  • Row segregation list (labels for "GOOD" / "PARTIAL-DEFECT" / "NG" containers)

9. Reaction Plan

Lamination shift >0.1 mm repeatedly: stop & recalibrate positioning pins. Punch misses >1%: verify DB sync & XY offset.

10. Safety

Hot surfaces: use thermal gloves. Moving parts: keep hands outside guard zones.
